“A cooperative is an autonomous association of persons united voluntarily to meet their common economic, social, and cultural needs and aspirations through a jointly-owned and democratically controlled enterprise.”
Our Cooperative is officially up and running. We must take advantage of this unique opportunity to make impact and leave behind a legacy for many Generations. It is going to operate within the cooperative guidelines in line with scripture and the laws of the land.
In order to accommodate our current plans and strategies we will begin with 3 initial Schemes.
Cooperative Savings and Investments Schemes
Housing Schemes
Medical HMO Schemes
These schemes are designed to target our focal areas for now and more will be developed from time to time. You will be required to pay the one time registration fee and annual levy to come in.
You will then be asked where you will like to place your funds and are free to join all three! Each scheme will be tailored to suit you and your current capacity and to run efficiently would be run full time by qualified personnel and will be regularly informed on developments using today’s technology and regular cooperative newsletter.
Our investment schemes would be in unit trusts to generate interest for your funds, while the housing schemes would focus on property acquisition and the health scheme on ensuring your health insurance is placed and maintained through a reputable HMO.
I will continue to provide information through the bulletin.
Our cooperative would be starting its “Bridge Homes Project” 50 units of houses from 2 Bedroom Terraced Houses to 3 Bedroom Semi Detached Houses and the related services from crèche to play grounds and event spaces as well as clinics and utility services. Please find where you fit into this project.
The health scheme is on ground now and commences June 1st 2007 please make sure you have completed the Enrollee Forms and pay your funds either the Church Accountant or directly into Midfield Account and your Photo Data (We need this for the production of I.D Cards) - Photographs of other dependants - parents or wards who were not in Church when we took the photographs of others - Schedule of names and of the Hospital of Choice.
Welcome to a new day. |
